a first night of Gibran

and to think you rule the world.

looking at yourself in social mirrors...

Imagine without conscience

your independent will to swim upstream on demand.

But instead, stimulus response for years sat in traditions chair.

Gibran said everything of Lebanon that i thought of writing about my own country.

aside,

i heard it seemed i was mad when she first heard my poems performed through me.

then she read of the poison of Gibran's words appropriately for those who reject them as poison.

and she found we might both be mad.

slipping toward each others pausing

and to think they rule the world without acknowledging madness...
