For years philanthropic organizations and individuals have provided aid to people the world over, in poverty. Aid though usually assumes material form. A skill, or a monetary handout cannot change the mental state of someone in poverty. The mental state of someone in poverty keeps him poor even more so than the lack of material things. From this age identified as the Technological age to that referred to as the Stone Age, the one thing that ran concurrent to material development was the development of the use of man’s mind.
This therefore dictates that to give true aid to man in need is to give him the life skill tools by which to navigate in integrity. No longer are we dwelling in an age where the adage “one can take a man from the ghetto, but that you cant take the ghetto from the man” holds water. "There's a hole in the bucket, Dear reader, a hole."
In summary of the afore mentioned point, in order to save the world through poverty eradication, with an aim to achieving sustainable results, one must also eradicate the mind of poverty.
